The Barrhill Community Interest Company (BCIC) has been operating since 2008 and is a Company Limited by Guarantee governed by its Memorandum and Articles. A community interest company (CIC) is a type of company, designed for social enterprises that want to use their profits and assets for the public good. There are special regulatory measures to ensure they are working for the benefit of the community.
The current directors on the BCIC Board are: John Thomson(Chair), Richard Brown (Vice Chair), Liz Ottoway (Treasurer)

We are a private company limited by guarantee without share capital.
Directors are elected at an Annual General Meeting, which is held yearly, in August/September.
